Sphere
Sphere points out the basic principle of a table: A horizontal surface and a construction that holds that surface in position. To separate and exaggerate the forces that are distributed through the table, the different materials specify the function of each part. The concrete cast underlines the pressure, the metal thread the traction and the transparent glass plane contains the main table function. Dimensions: H: 518, W: 670, D: 670mm. Sphere is the first prototype to come out of an ongoing project in collaboration with Maja Lind Ziska.
